When To Expect Sandy’s Worst

Hurricane-force winds of 60 to 80 mph are likely to rake the region from about nightfall through midnight.

That’s the word from the forecasters at the Eye on the Sky.

Chris Bouchard tells us that those strong winds will probably hit southern Vermont and the spine of the mountains before that.

The Champlain Valley will be getting the winds a bit later.

But the entire region is expected to have strong winds well into Tuesday.
