As Hurricane Sandy’s blustery winds sweep through Vermont, the storm is disrupting travel.
Police say Interstate 89 and Route 2, in both directions, are closed between Richmond and Waterbury due to a downed power line.
Members from the Vermont State Police, Agency of Transportation and Green Mountain Power are on the scene assessing the situation.
