Rockingham’s Worral Bridge To Be Repaired

Rockingham’s Select Board unanimously passed a motion to accept a bid from Daniels Construction, a private bridge building company located in Ascutney for the repair of the Worrall Covered Bridge at a cost not to exceed $17,975. The bridge was damaged due to the flooding brought on by Tropical Storm Irene and is amongst a number of historic covered bridges in the State that suffered damage or were completely destroyed in late August of last year.
